Application Case

In October 2013, the technology was successfully implemented at Laigang Section Steel Company’s Ironmaking Plant, where three sintering machines were equipped with the system. The recovered low-temperature flue gas heat is transferred through specially designed heat exchangers to produce 80 ℃ hot water, which is then supplied to the production area for winter heating.

Technology Development

BOOYO Industry, in collaboration with Shandong Metallurgical Design Institute and the leadership of Laigang Ironmaking Plant, developed an innovative non-power flue gas heat recovery technology. Unlike conventional methods requiring additional energy input, this system utilizes the residual pressure of the cooler fans to recover heat without external power, significantly improving efficiency and sustainability.
