BOYU has added a new high frequency welded serrated fin tube production line, expanding our manufacturing capabilities for heat transfer components. This investment supports our boiler, heat exchanger, and waste heat recovery equipment business.
Serrated spiral fin tubes feature a metal strip wound helically around a base tube. The outer part of the strip is cut into small segments, while the fin base is joined to the tube by high frequency welding.
The fins increase the external heat transfer surface area. Their segmented structure helps promote gas flow mixing around the tube, supporting heat transfer between the gas outside and the fluid inside.
High frequency welded serrated fin tubes are commonly used in:
Heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs)
Boiler economizers
Waste heat recovery units
Industrial gas-to-liquid heat exchangers
Fin dimensions, spacing, and materials are selected according to operating temperatures, gas conditions, and cleaning requirements.
The new production line brings fin tube manufacturing closer to our tube bundle fabrication and equipment assembly operations. This helps us coordinate production schedules and maintain closer control over component quality.
For each project, key manufacturing checks include material verification, fin dimensions, fin spacing, weld quality, and the condition of the finished tubes.
BOYU welcomes inquiries for high frequency welded serrated fin tubes and related heat transfer equipment. Send us your drawings, material specifications, tube dimensions, fin details, and required quantities so our team can review your requirements and prepare a quotation.
