Boyu Heavy Industry has completed a visual management upgrade at its Phase III manufacturing facility, presenting its automated serpentine tube production capacity, workshop management standards, safety controls and environmental responsibilities more clearly.

The upgrade was completed in preparation for a visit by representatives of the Tai’an municipal government. However, the project is more than an improvement to the appearance of the factory.
It creates a clearer connection between Boyu’s production equipment, manufacturing processes, safety requirements and management system. Customers, government representatives and project partners can now understand the workshop layout and production capabilities more efficiently during factory visits and inspections.
Visual management is an important part of Boyu’s Phase III workshop development. Workshop floor plans, visitor routes, emergency evacuation directions, production-line information and environmental emergency measures are displayed in key areas of the facility.
These systems make the production layout easier to understand and help employees follow standardized operating procedures. They also improve the efficiency of customer audits, government inspections and technical visits.
Instead of viewing only production equipment and materials, visitors can quickly understand how the workshop is organized, how products move through the manufacturing process and how operational risks are controlled.

The serpentine tube production workshop is one of the main manufacturing areas within Boyu’s Phase III facility.
Serpentine tubes are widely used in boiler economizers, superheaters, reheaters and other heating surface systems. Their manufacture requires accurate tube bending, reliable welding, dimensional consistency and strict process control.
Boyu’s production lines integrate automatic material feeding, surface grinding, welding, tube bending and inspection. The connected production process reduces unnecessary manual handling and improves manufacturing efficiency and batch consistency.
The workshop can process individual tubes with lengths of up to 120 meters, supporting large and complex boiler heating surface assemblies.

Safety and environmental management are also important parts of the Phase III visual management project.
Workshop entrances display safety instructions, emergency evacuation routes, personal protective equipment requirements and hazard warnings. Production zones, logistics routes and visitor areas are clearly identified to reduce operational risks.
Environmental emergency information is displayed through the “One Plant, One Policy” management board. The board identifies responsible personnel, environmental risk levels and emergency response measures.
These systems demonstrate Boyu’s commitment to combining manufacturing capacity with standardized safety management, environmental compliance and responsible factory operation.
